World War II Army Air Forces Recruitment Letter
  During World War II, ambivalent or resistant attitudes toward women in military service began to changed as the military recognized women's capabilities. This letter praising members of the Women's Army Corps (WAC) assigned to the Army Air Forces and encouraging current personnel to recruit new Air WACs was circulated during Beatrice Stecher's World War II service.
