Women Marines Association Essay Contest
Entries in the Marine Corps Association educational essay contest are due June 1, 2008. The contest is sponsored in coordination with the Women Marines Association (WMA) and the Women's Memorial Foundation. All servicemembers—Active-Duty, Reserve or Guard, retiree or veteran—may submit essays, focused on women in the Marine Corps, of no more than 1,500 words. Prizes will include $500 and $250 cash awards, as well as books and memberships in the WMA or the Women’s Memorial. Entries must be postmarked no later than June 1, 2008.
