Need A Speaker?

Community, civic and military organizations seeking servicewomen or women veterans as speakers for special events and programs may contact the Women's Memorial Foundation for assistance.

In order to begin the process of finding you a speaker, we will need to know the following:

1. Where and when is the event being held?
2. What is the theme of your program?
3. Who is your audience and how many people will be in it?
4. What is your budget–do you need a local speaker or could you pay for the travel and lodging of, as an example, the president of the Memorial, BrigGen Vaught, if she were available?
5. Do you need a local speaker? If so, we need the first three digits of the zip codes in your area.
6. As specific as possible, what type of person would you like to have speak-a WWII female vet, a Navy WAVE, a military nurse, a modern servicewomen, an historian, etc.?
7. What would you like the person to speak about-the Women's Memorial, their service, the history of women in the military, etc.?
8. How long will the speaker be expected to talk?
9. Will there be a question and answer session?
